Not to mention I have to take down the lights, too.

Nobody is looking forward to tomorrow, planes taking them to distant destinations, most of them cold. It’s been too much fun, too much laughing, too much food, hiking, riding, more food, more laughing, a house upside down with people and parrot feathers, a kitchen constantly in use and every day an open bar. Next week’s clean house and sensible eating seems a poor exchange.

Good deed o’ the day- my husband and I took everybody out to eat.  Later I recalled that I did have some cooking ability and churned out guacamole, fresh salsa, a pear crumble and a roasted butternut squash spaghetti sauce.   I’ll share the recipe tomorrow.
